Is Any Hair Loss Solution A Laughing Matter?

People have been dealing with hair loss as a part of the aging process dating back as for as we can remember. Hair loss is something that men have devised a number of methods to combat over the years. The same hair loss solution may not be right for everyone. People's needs and comfort level with a product will be different. There has been a great deal of trial and error in the hair loss world. For example, for many, surgery is not an option no matter how successful it may prove to be.

The original hair loss solution was to wear a toupee. That has fallen out of vogue in recent years because there are now numerous options available that actually help to regrow hair. However, in the past, an old school toupee was the order of the day and remained popular despite the fact that it was usually the butt of joke after joke in sitcoms and movies dating back to the early 1930's and the Three Stooges!

Some people may find this funny, but for the person suffering from hair loss it is anything but funny. Hair loss can be embarrassing and stressful for the person suffering from it. While some of the old toupee gags are considered funny, these silly jokes at the expense of a hair loss solution that many men employed basically made baldness something that was "deserved" of being mocked.

Nowadays, I think being bald is more in vouge than wearing a toupee and thankfully we are a more tolerant society. I think most people realize that it is cruel and immature to make fun of someone just for being bald or wearing a toupee.
